NRF Campaign for COVID-19 Relief Legislation
Today, NRF launched a grassroots campaign calling on Congress to make a deal on COVID-19 relief legislation that will help retailers stay open and serve their communities. These priorities include:
- Authorization of remaining PPP funds to be available for small businesses
- Expedited loan forgiveness, flexibility to use PPP funds for fixed costs by small businesses, and deductibility of PPP business expenses
- Financial stimulus through direct aid to individuals and families, and incentives to encourage a return to work
- Liability protections to provide certainty for businesses following safe operating guidelines without fear of unwarranted lawsuits
We encourage members to utilize the NRF’s action link to amplify this message on Capitol Hill. Thank you.
