Paid Family and Medical Leave Regulatory Listening Sessions

The newly established Department of Family and Medical Leave (DFML) has scheduled a series of listening sessions across the state designed to solicit feedback from the public on draft regulations necessary for the implementation of the Massachusetts Paid Family and Medical Leave Law (PFML).  The dates and locations for the listening sessions may be found here.  RAM members with questions or concerns regarding the PFML law are encouraged to participate in the listening sessions to ensure your voice is heard.

For more information regarding the program please visit the DFML website where you can find an implementation timeline, frequently asked questions, and details regarding future events.  DFML will also be posting its draft regulations governing the program to the website prior to January 23rd.  Members may also click here to sign up for the DFML newsletter to be kept up to date with any new developments.

RAM will continue to remain engaged on this issue throughout the regulatory process and is interested in hearing from members with concerns.  Member feedback may be sent to RAM General Counsel, Ryan Kearney, via email at [email protected] or by phone at 617-523-1900.
