RAM 2023 Fixed Rate Electricity Supply Program

 

The Retailers Association of Massachusetts (RAM) has teamed up with electricity broker Freedom Energy Logistics (FEL) and electricity supplier First Point Power (FPP) to offer RAM members a 24-month Fixed Rate Electricity Supply price from November 2023 through October 2025. 

This fixed rate program is designed to protect you against unexpected price fluctuations commonly experienced in the electricity market.  This allows members to confidently budget their annual electricity costs. 

Prior to enrolling in this offer, members are advised to first check that they are NOT CURRENTLY UNDER A LONG TERM ELECTRICITY SUPPLY CONTRACT with an expiration date beyond October 2023.  Enrolling in this program while still under contract may result in you incurring early termination fees.

Application Checklist

  • FPP Electricity Sales Agreement - complete sections 1. NOTIFICATION, 4. TAX STATUS, 6. AGREEMENT, and ATTACHMENT A on page two and initial all other pages.
  • Copy of Recent Electric Bill(s) – all pages required
  • Small Business Energy Exemption Certificate (if applicable) – businesses must apply for a certificate online at MassTaxConnect.  More information on how to apply for the exemption may be found here.

 Please note:

  • By signing the Electricity Sales Agreement you are also agreeing to the included Terms and Conditions.  Members are advised to review the applicable Terms and Conditions before submitting their application.
  • All submitted applications are subject to final approval by First Point Power. 
  • While the program’s offered price is competitive, RAM cannot guarantee it will be the lowest price option available to you.
  • Residential meters and meters on municipal utilities are NOT eligible for this offering.
