Updated CDC Mask GuidanceThe Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced last Friday that it is relaxing its mask guidance in low risk communities. Under the new guidance, nearly 70% of the U.S. population lives in an area where residents are advised that they can go indoors without masks. Continued mask use is still recommended in high risk communities where serious cases of COVID-19 are straining health care systems. The updated CDC guidance may be found here.
Boston Lifts Mask MandateThe Boston Public Health Commission has announced that the city will be ending its the indoor mask mandate for businesses and other venues effective March 5th. The vote came less than two weeks after Mayor Michelle Wu lifted the city’s proof of vaccination requirement for indoor dining and other venues. Click here to learn more. |
